In 2023, UAB "Elinta Motors" started implementing the project „Installation of renewable energy resource production capacities at Elinta Motors, UAB“. With this project, the company aims to install a solar power plant, which will allow the company to use the produced electricity for its own internal needs and at the same time reduce the consumption of traditional energy, thereby contributing to the reduction of air pollution.
The project will be implemented in accordance with the 2022-2030 Ministry of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania Economic Transformation and Competitiveness Development Program Progress Measure No. 05-001-01-04-02 "Encourage companies to move towards a climate-neutral economy" activity "Encourage the introduction of renewable energy resources in industrial enterprises (Central and Western Lithuania region)".
The project's total value (the sum of eligible and ineligible expenses) is 79,555.41 euros, of which 43,980.58 euros is allocated from the European Regional Development Fund. This amount will cover 69.99998885872080 percent of the eligible costs of the project and thus will contribute strongly to the company's ability to achieve the project's goals.
